Any feedback on which brands have the reputation for building the strongest boards?

Merci

That's indeed not what I was expeting from a Naish SUP.
I always though Naish was one of the top SUP board builders.

That's some very cheap foam inside that board  Cry

There was also another guy on our local beach who's Naish SUP had snapped.  I wish I'd taken a photo, but I think it was the top-of-the-range board also.

It was us who posted about the broken Naish board on the SUZ forum.  We didn't name the board for a while, we were not into knocking the Naish brand - we were only asking about replacing it with a stronger board.  The thread was running for a few days until people demanded to know the brand of our broken board.  When we named it, we got a warning from the Admin of that site.  Other posters asked more questions about the board - everyone seemed pretty shocked that such a new board would break so easily.  We posted more photos at the behest of some members of that forum and the admin immediately deleted the post.  We mailed the Admin directly and he deleted our membership of that particular forum.

Another thread was started by a member of the forum asking why the thread was deleted - others joined in quickly but the new thread was deleted by the Admin and we were kicked off the forum.  So much for free speech.

Congrats to SUP Heaven if you will really stay Ad-free because a forum cannot be taken seriously when people are being gagged.

Just how much revenue do SUZ get from Naish anyway  Huh

Maybe the way this particular thread is developing should be under the Censorship heading, but for my tuppence worth in this topic, I also read that broken board thread on the other forum and even though I did not post, I used to use the info to make what I thought were 'informed' gear decisions.  When I saw that thread deleted and then the 2nd one also go, I bailed too.

Hi All,

I was about to purchase a Naish Mana. I saw a thread about it on Standup Zone Forum before seeing this blog. I then left a question on Standup Zone Forum referencing this webpage. Today I checked the Zone forum and my question wasn't posted. What's even worse is that they canceled my registration and erased any posts I had on that board. Apparently they must be controlled by Naish and don't want any negative press. It backfired - I will never buy a Naish now and will never recommend one.

Thanks for the heads up!
