What's the point of a having a forum, when the most interesting threads get deleted?

I want to know which boards are best, that's why I am here
(ok,ok, I am also here to check out the latest speedo fashion)

Funny, on all my times at the Stand Up Zone forum I have never seen an ad or sponsor logo. They do feature different brands I see, but nothing that looks like advertising. In fact, if you look at their "Manufacturers" list, there is just about every brand listed. Seems like a pretty level playing field to me.

I think the "censorship" thing might come from the fact that people are being overly negative and maybe a bit combative. The minute you start making things personal and calling people out, the minute people get turned off and don't want to be a part of the conversation. It is the Admins right and responsibility to be a moderator. If things are going in a bad direction, and other people are complaining about the way a thread is going, they have the right to listen to all arguments and make a decision.

I really like that this forum is so honest and is all about "no censorship", but at some point you have to be responsible and silence the total nutjobs out there. Not saying anyone here is a nutjob, but there will be soon I am sure... once they get wind of the "freedom" provided here at SUP Heaven.

I have already deleted a fair number of nut-jobs.

General rule is you can bring your stories, experiences, good and bad and your advice, recommendations and pleasure of the sport, but not your anger or insults directed at another forum member - that's where we draw the line.  We are not here to say that one brand of board is better than another as all are different and people will choose what they choose.

Postings here about boards, good and bad will be allowed as I feel that this type of discussion IS healthy if it is based on people's real experience.

We have no photos of any particular brand of board on our home page and will not at any stage.  Admin.
