I had Hump back whale meets short board in Peru (well actually 100 meters from me) but it felt a lot closer  Shocked

Nothing larger than a turtle please.........I did have something brush past my leg a month or so back - something large, gave me a bit of a fright and I was back on my board rapido.

From January to March, hump back whales are often around the bay of Cabarete where we SUP.  I really hope to be out there when a pod is passing on their way to Samana for breeding.  I've often seen them at a distance and when kiting once.  I also hope to have my camera to hand when it happens  Cool
